Żywiec: OTOZ Animals and police rescue two dogs; emaciated Spiro awaits surgery
radio90.plAccording to the organisation, a roughly one-year-old dog was severely emaciated and a six-month-old puppy was kept on a short chain. Both were placed in the Żywiec shelter run by the Futrzany Los association.
Veterinary tests found foreign bodies in Spiro's stomach. He is in a clinic and will undergo surgery once stable. OTOZ Animals is fundraising for his treatment, and lawyers are handling the matter of the conditions the dogs were kept in.
