V-Label Awards Germany 2026: record vote, Lidl's Vemondo wins most awards

Vemondo won in four product categories and took the Private Label Award for the second year running. Just Egg, which also won the Food Innovation Award, and Rewe Bio Pflanzlich each received two awards. Other winners include Apostels vegan tzatziki, Alpro's matcha coconut drink and Penny's vegan tiramisu.

The meat, fish and egg alternatives category drew a particularly high number of entries. Citing YouGov data, V-Label says sales volumes of vegetarian and vegan meat and sausage alternatives in Germany rose 14.9% year on year in August, and those of tofu, patties and falafel by 29.5%.
