Mikołów wildlife rescue launches a 24/7 'Zwierzakomat' drop-off box for injured wild animals
s6.tvp.plAn injured badger, a fox hit by a car or a bird with a broken wing can now get help even in the middle of the night. The Leśne Pogotowie wildlife rehabilitation centre in Mikołów has launched a 'Zwierzakomat', a place where people can leave a wild animal that needs treatment.
The animal waits there in safe conditions until carers arrive. According to TVP3 Katowice, all it takes to use it is the will to help and a single text message.
