What this page covers

This page describes the cookies and similar technologies used by Vegan Guide (vegan-guide.eu) in your browser. For how personal data is processed, see the Privacy Policy.

We group cookies into three categories: strictly necessary (no consent needed), statistics (only with consent), and advertising (currently off).

Strictly necessary tools

The site, your account, and payments need a few cookies. They do not require consent:

• the Supabase sign-in session, which keeps you logged in to your account,
• Stripe payments, which set cookies during checkout or subscription,
• the site language (locale cookie), which remembers the language version you chose,
• the Plus price currency (vg_currency cookie, PLN or USD),
• the city you selected on the home page,
• the record of your cookie choice in the browser (vg-consent key) and closing the window in this tab (vg-consent-dismissed).

Statistics: only after consent

We turn statistics on only after you consent in the banner or in Cookie settings. Without consent, the statistics scripts are not loaded and we send them no signals, not even anonymous ones without cookies.

• Google Analytics 4 (Google): _ga and _ga_* cookies, by default for 2 years. Set only after consent.
• Cloudflare Insights (Cloudflare): the beacon script loads only after the same analytics consent.

Advertising

Google AdSense is currently off. If advertising returns, its script will load only after you switch on the advertising category in Cookie settings.

How to change your choice

The “Cookie settings” link in the footer reopens your choice. Rejecting or switching off analytics stops further loading of Google Analytics and Cloudflare Insights, and _ga cookies are removed from the browser.
