Schronisko Pegasus (Fundacja Pegasus / Instytut Empatii, KRS 0000119251) has since 2002 run a sanctuary for animals rescued from abuse – including Poland’s oldest horse shelter. Since 2024 the main centre is in Stare Resko (Stare Resko 10, Połczyn-Zdrój) on about 74 ha; the foundation also runs interventions and international volunteering.
