Data is freeEstimating the environmental impacts of 57,000 food products
An analysis of 57,000 products sold in the UK and Ireland (PNAS, 2022) scored their emissions, land use, water stress and eutrophication. Fruit and bread had the lowest impact, and meat, fish and cheese the highest. Products rated healthier by Nutri-Score were usually more sustainable too.
