Attention! Hunting: participate in public consultations – step-by-step guide

The civic legislative initiative "Attention! Hunting" has gathered over 200,000 signatures. After verification, the project has reached its first reading in the Sejm. Now, the key stage is public consultations – which will last until October 18.
Anyone can voice their opinion on the Sejm's website (project signature: RPW/29629/2026). The Association In the Name of Animals from Krakow has prepared a detailed step-by-step guide:

• Go to the consultation page and click "Survey."
• Log in (most conveniently through the mObywatel app – just scan the QR code).
• Accept the consultation rules.
• Fill out the form – 11 questions + general comment.
• You can add comments on specific articles of the project.
• Go to the summary and submit your opinion.

The organization offers ready-made versions of comments – focused on the safety of people, transparency of information, protection of animals, or general support for the project. They can be used or modified.

The project includes, among other things:

• a public register of hunts (both collective and individual),
• greater distances from buildings and public places,
• periodic medical and psychological examinations for hunters,
• restrictions on night hunting, with drives and during breeding seasons,
• increased control by nature protection authorities and property owners' rights.

Participating in the consultations is a real opportunity to influence changes in the current hunting law.
