Are vegans naturally weaker?

Short answer

No. Strength and mass depend on training, energy and protein, not a diet label. There are vegan endurance and strength athletes. Undereating weakens anyone.

AND does not tie veganism to inevitable muscle loss. Calories + protein + a training stimulus work on a plant diet.

Anecdotes about a cousin who “got weak” often describe a calorie deficit, not a magic property of meat.
