Is beer vegan?
Short answer
Often yes, but not always. Some beers (especially traditional ales) are fined with isinglass from fish. Lagers are usually filtered another way. Check the brewery.
Barnivore and brewery sites are practical sources. In Poland many lagers are vegan, but that is not a universal rule.
Honey in meads and lactose in milk stouts are separate traps.
