“Try a Diet for the Planet” – free plant-based cooking workshop in Gdańsk: Polish tradition
On 25 October the PLONY Foundation hosts the last workshop in its “Try a Diet for the Planet” series, busting the myth that plant-based cooking has nothing to do with Polish tradition.
About the event
The workshop takes place on Sunday 25 October 2026, 11:00–14:00, at HUBA x Energa, at the corner of Narzędziowców and Nitrowa streets at 100cznia in Gdańsk. It is free, but places are limited and allocated on a first-come basis via a registration form.
The session (Myth #6: “Plant-based cooking has nothing to do with Polish tradition”) draws on Polish culinary traditions, familiar ingredients and seasonal flavours, with cooking together and conversation at the table. No cooking experience is needed.
The “Try a Diet for the Planet” series is run by the PLONY Foundation with support from the City of Gdańsk; earlier sessions tackled myths about protein, flavour and vegan cakes.
