Interspecies Cinema: “Dandelion's Odyssey” – screening and talk at the MSN Kinomuzeum

The film combines nature photography with animation. It follows a family of dandelion seeds that set off in search of a new home after a disaster, showing the world from the perspective of beings that usually stay outside the centre of human attention.

After the screening, Dr hab. Urszula Zajączkowska, professor at SGGW, will talk about the agency of non-human creatures, interspecies relations and anthropomorphism. The conversation will be moderated by Dr Patrycja Pichnicka-Trivedi of the Centre for Environmental Humanities. Interspecies Cinema is a monthly series of screenings with discussions about films that offer a non-anthropocentric view of nature. Tickets are available at the cinema box office and online.
