What does the V-Label mean?
Short answer
The vegan V-Label certifies that a product meets the licensor’s vegan criteria, including ingredients and checks. No logo does not always mean non-vegan — some producers skip the licence fee.
V-Label distinguishes vegetarian vs vegan. Rules cover ingredients and often contamination thresholds.
Other marks (Vegan Society sunflower, retailer logos) have their own rules.
