Are hot spices vegan?
Short answer
Chilli, pepper, paprika — yes, they are plants. Blends may contain cheese powder, meat flavourings or honey in a glaze. Read the blend, do not fear heat.
Heat has nothing to do with animals. The trap is BBQ mixes and cheese seasoning.
Blends with “natural flavouring” follow the same rule as flavourings: it depends on the producer.
