About this place
The Open Cages Association is a national organization established in 2012, bringing together individuals who want to change the fate of farm animals.
Since 2018, we have been part of Anima International — we operate in Poland, the United Kingdom, Denmark, France, Bulgaria, and Norway.
We believe that changing the situation for animals is possible. We advocate for better protection of animals confined on farms, as well as for consumers' right to full knowledge about their living conditions.
We support international initiatives and are part of global coalitions for animal rights, including the Open Wing Alliance and Fur Free Retailer.
Our mission
Our goal is to prevent animal suffering by implementing systemic social changes, documenting conditions in industrial farming, and promoting education that fosters positive attitudes towards animals.
